DON Sunpil is an artist who presents our conversational methodologies in the form of pieces. In order for readymade objects to exist in the contemporary society, there must be an intersection of numerous thought structures. DON believes that this process is akin to the use of our language and signs. In this context, DON carves out his art work based on the notion that mechanically mass-produced objects, irrespective of form, are like our conversations in that they are instantiated pieces of our own reality.

DON received his BA as a print major from Hong-Ik University, and then his MA as a plastic arts major from Seoul University of Science and Technology. He held a solo exhibition at Audiovisual Pavilion in 2016, participated in London's Coronet International Festival in 2017, and held another solo exhibition at Taste house in 2018.
