Biography

ZHENG Huan discovers the delicate balance between the reality where we live and the virtual history or mystery from the everyday life. He transforms these daily observation into plaster casting, shaping, overlapping and then modeling. A series of his following actions including hammering, kneading and scraping the clay, in a way of random overlapping and accumulation, have faded the traces of artist’s consciousness. In the end, a wonderful scene of the metaphysical mechanism in traditional aesthetics being eventually eliminated has been finally presented with absurd.
