BAEK Eunha

Biography
BAEK Eunha (b. 1972) presents paintings and installations characterized by their approachable narrative structures and harmonious atmospheres. She is distinctly recognized for her technique of creating collages with everyday materials, such as flower petals and other natural items. Memories from her childhood in the countryside serve as primary inspirations for her works. Through her art, she aims to convey an organic worldview where humans, flora, fauna, and inanimate objects coexist and breathe in harmony.
 
Born in 1972 in Chuncheon, Korea, she graduated from Kangwon National University's College of Humanities, majoring in Korean Language and Literature, in 1995. Her solo exhibitions include venues like Art Space Bingonggan (2023, Jeju, Korea), Kolon Sport Sotsot Rebirth (2023, Jeju, Korea), Tenjinyama Art Studio (2018, Sapporo, Japan), Gallery Woomul (2017, Seoul, Korea), Kyung-In Museum of Fine Art (2008, Seoul, Korea), Rich Art (2005, New York, USA), Dukwon Gallery (2003, Seoul, Korea), and Kwanhoon Gallery (2001, Seoul, Korea). She showcased her works at the 3rd Gwangju Design Biennale: The Clue (2009, Gwangju, Korea) and participated in group exhibitions at Uijeongbu Arts Center (2009, Seoul, Korea), Jangheung Art Park (Currently Gana Art Park, 2006, Yangju, Korea), Jebiwol Art Museum (2002, Gwacheon, Korea), and Insa Art Center (2002, Seoul, Korea). She has worked on numerous children's books, including Petal Apartment (Woongjin, 2019), Croissant Mom (Dong-A Ilbo Corp., 2009), and The Story Flower Has Bloomed (Daegyo Bertelsmann, 2007). She currently lives and works in Jeju, Korea.
