The Gwangju Biennale Foundation will host the fifth session of its GB Artist Tour on July 20 at 4:00 PM at Space DDF (62-19, Chungjang-ro 5-ga, Dong-gu, Gwangju), featuring artist LIM Subeom. The GB Artist Tour is a program that connects local artists active in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions with the public, offering an opportunity to share and discuss their artistic practices. LIM Subeom, the featured artist of the fifth session, envisions vast worlds as organic networks and expresses the self as a part of that system through sensuous painting. His practice delves into the mythical beings and imagined landscapes that emerge from the boundaries of an ambiguous and unknowable world—realms that defy human comprehension.
