BAEK Eunha creates her uniquely fairy tale-like compositions through a combination of materials, including natural dyes extracted from flowers and fruits, objects imbued with memory such as flower petals and hanok lattice windows, and painterly elements like oil pastels and mineral pigments, all applied onto traditional Korean paper such as hanji and jangji. Her work begins with intimate memories from childhood and gradually expands into stories about emotional resonance and connections between nature and people. The title of this exhibition, Glorious Ear, is a metaphorical expression comparing the form of a rose to the shape of a human ear. It symbolically reflects the core of her artistic world, which emphasizes the beauty of attentively listening to one another with sincerity and empathy in the context of various relationships.
