(...) Through this traumatic experience, the artist came to realize, “I am not simply living in the present in a linear and flat manner, but rather, I—the accumulation of experiences and memories—am living in the present in a dimensional way.” Ultimately, she became an artist who explores the gap between “what is seen and what is unseen.” From this, her practice of “dimensional seeing” began, along with an inquiry into what it truly means “to see.” The foundation of her dimensional painting was built upon these insights.
