LEE Eunsil (b. 1983), who has drawn attention for visualising emotions that arise where personal desire collides with social norms through techniques rooted in East Asian painting, presents ten new works based on the experience of childbirth in her solo exhibition Surging Waves, opening on the 17th at ARARIO GALLERY SEOUL. This exhibition marks both her first solo presentation at ARARIO GALLERY and the first time the artist brings to the forefront the theme of childbirth, a subject she has long contemplated.
