To celebrate its 70th anniversary, The National Academy of Arts, Republic of Korea, said it will hold a special exhibition at the Korean Cultural Center in London, England, from April 4 to April 23.
In this special exhibition, a total of 26 works by 13 current members and 4 members who passed away from the art department will be displayed.
By presenting art pieces by Lee Jongsang (Korean painting), Yoon Myungro, Yoo Heeyoung, Park Kwangjin, Kim Sookjin, Jeong Sanghwa (Western painting), Jeun Loi-jin, Choi Jongtae, UM Tai-Jung, Choi Euisoon (sculpture), Lee Shinja, Kang Changyun (craft), and Yoon Seungjoong (architecture), the exhibition will introduce the activities of senior artists who made Korean contemporary art today.
