The title of DON Sunpil’s solo exhibition, Re-Reset, originates from the name of a fictional book featured in a Japanese manga. It was the result of a mistranslation by a translator who failed to catch the original wordplay. Although a later edition corrected the mistake in a footnote, the awkward phrase still lingers. DON Sunpil found this kind of translation error intriguing.
