“At this point, as my practice has diversified, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my trajectory. This exhibition offers a concrete look at the various forms I’ve explored beyond painting, including sculpture,” says OK Seungcheol (age 37). His words come to life across the 400-pyeong (approximately 1,320 square meters) exhibition space at the LOTTE Museum of Art. Opening on August 15, PROTOTYPE is a survey exhibition that brings together more than 80 works—from OK’s early paintings to his most recent pieces, including sculptures and installations. The show offers a comprehensive view of the artist’s evolving practice, which has expanded from traditional painting into three-dimensional and spatial formats.
