He has spent many years collecting artworks and experiencing the art scene up close. The time he accumulated reading market trends and selecting works has, following his transition into a creator, been expressed on the canvas in a different way.
The exhibition title also stems from a question the artist posed to himself.
CI KIM said, “What truly matters to me, beyond standards set by others? Through my experiences in business, art collecting, and making work, I came to the conclusion that the senses and choices I trust ultimately form a world of their own.”
