BAEK Eunha, Glorious Ear

Kim Taeyoon, Jeju Today, 14 June 2025
Artist BAEK Eunha, who has been creating works in her own distinctive style since relocating to Jeju five years ago, will hold a solo exhibition at ARARIO GALLERY SEOUL (85 Yulgok-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul) from July 18 to August 2.
BAEK primarily works on traditional Korean paper such as hanji and jangji, using a unique combination of natural dyes extracted from flowers and fruits, nostalgic objects like flower petals and hanok lattice windows, and painting materials including oil pastels and mineral pigments. Through this diverse use of materials, she creates her signature fairy tale-like atmosphere. The themes of her paintings often originate from intimate memories of childhood, gradually expanding into stories that explore emotional connections and resonance between nature and people.
