SHIH YUNG CHUN: FORBIDDEN LOVE

This publication is a collection of a solo exhibition of SHIH Yung Chun, published for his solo show at ARARIO GALLERY SEOUL from October 16 to December 6, 2025.

SHIH Yung Chun(b.1978) constructs fictional narratives set across seven distinct scenes, exploring unfamiliar relationships among objects and the irony of emotions embedded within love, desire, rivalry, and betrayal. Forbidden Love, the artist’s first solo exhibition in Korea, presents sculptural installations, paintings, and time-based works that expand a theatrical, doll-stage-like universe into a multilayered narrative world.
