LEE Jihyun creates a multiverse where memory and imagination intertwine, layering scenes from the past and present. Based between Seoul and New Haven, she is presenting her first solo exhibition in Korea in four years, Fantasma: Restless Silence (July 1–August 15, ARARIO GALLERY). The exhibition takes “Monghwansuh,” a fictional manuscript, as its central theme.
The gallery’s three floors each serve as a separate chapter, bringing the exhibition together as a single “book.” The presentation features 22 works, including new works and key pieces from her practice.
