Now that we are closer to the digital world than ever before, ‘Holly’ and ‘Magma’ serve as indicators to gauge how contemporary young artists perceive the world. Regarding this exhibition, NOH Sangho said, “The sculptures among the works in this exhibition used special pigments to emit different light depending on the viewing angle. “I wanted to give people the pleasure of seeing the work in person in the real world rather than just seeing it as a digital image,” and HWANG Sueyon said, “In the past, we learned through experience, but now we have a greater sense of learning through videos. I wanted to give a finite body to images that are consumed meaninglessly.”
