What do we truly see before our eyes? Is it a sequence of still frames, or fleeting moments that instantly vanish into history? Korean artist LEE Jinju has long questioned the very essence of “seeing.” She perceives that what we encounter in life is not merely an optical image like a photograph, but rather the flow of individual consciousness and a world shaped by subjective interpretation. Through her exploration of this inquiry, LEE arrived at one possible answer—Discontinuous Continuity—which has also become the theme of her latest exhibition at ARARIO GALLERY SEOUL.
