which was simultaneously held in Arario Gallery Seoul and Cheonan in 2018.

Jung Kangja(1942~2017) evoked social conversations through her audacious works while disclosing her identity as a female.
She has dedicated her career to painting from the end of the 1970s, and has reflected her life in various female figures, natural objects and geometric forms.

Exhibition 《JUNG Kangja: I want my last trip to the Moon》 introduces a collection of the artist's early works along with pieces reflecting her tenacious, artistic soul to overcome social inequalities. The 15 years of works produced up to her passing are generally comprised of a semicircle; this motif represents the artist's shifts and expansions of interests from specific or realistic themes to a more abstract and transcending nature of the human form itself.
