Does faith redeem the individual, or does it operate as the language of invisible power? An exhibition that foregrounds this question at the heart of contemporary society meets audiences in the center of Seoul.

ARARIO GALLERY SEOUL presents Thy Will Be Done, a solo exhibition by Philippine artist Leslie de CHAVEZ, on view from May 1 to June 20. Marking his first solo exhibition in Korea in nearly a decade since The Sleep of Reason in 2016, the exhibition features a total of 15 works, including eight paintings, two videos, and five installations.

The exhibition examines the complex structures of power formed within the political, religious, and cultural contexts shared by contemporary societies, including the Philippines. It explores how faith operates within both individual lives and social orders, functioning as a mechanism of domination and control while also containing the potential for interpretation and misinterpretation.
