[News] "The New i5" transformed into a canvas...Experience immersive field art by utilizing AI

BMW announced on the 4th that they will operate a BMW lounge at Frieze Seoul 2023 and exclusively unveil 'The Electric AI Canvas' in Korea. The electric AI canvas is an installation work inspired by 'BMW The New i5', which is scheduled to be released in October. A company official explained, "It is characterized by showing a unique combination of art and technology that uses AI to provide immersive field art experiences."

 

The pure electric model "The New i5" transforms into a dynamic canvas and presents a unique "Generative Art." Along with the works of contemporary artists such as Esther Mahlangu, Kohei Nawa, Eric N. Mack, Koo Jiyoon, and Bin Woo Hyuk, the work of artist Jung Soojung will be included on the electric AI canvas for the first time in "Frieze Seoul 2023."

 

On the 7th, a special art talk program will also be held. Curator Gary Yeh, who produced AI animation, and artists Jung Soojung and Koo Jiyoon will attend to share in-depth explanations and opinions on the work.
