Four Korean Modern and Contemporary Photographers Featured at Tate Modern, with 11 Works from Seoul Museum of Art’s Collection

Works by four Korean modern and contemporary photographers, including SUNG Doo-kyung, LEE Hyung-rok, LIM Seok-je, and PARK Youngsook, are being presented alongside key developments in international art photography at Tate Modern in the UK. Eleven works from the Seoul Museum of Art’s collection are featured in the international group exhibition Light and Magic: The Birth of Art Photography, extending the history of Pictorialist photography, traditionally told from a predominantly Western perspective, to include Korea.
