KIM Inbai, A Man Asleep

If sculpture is about accurately reproducing what lies before our eyes, KIM Inbai (48) takes the opposite approach. He creates forms by feeling his way with his hands, shutting out his sense of sight, and physically traces perspective as it narrows with distance. Although he attempts to recreate the same thing, the result inevitably slips out of alignment.
